March 15th

On this day - March 15th 1892 - Liverpool FC is formed

Liverpool FC was formed by following a disagreement in Everton where John Houlding the owner of Anfield wanted Everton to buy Anfield. It was not until June 3rd that the Board of Trade recognized Liverpool Football Club and Athletic Grounds Ltd. Liverpool is now one of the most popular clubs in the world and not without merits.
