Google, The technological firm, most known for their search engines, were founded as a privately owned company on the 4th of September in 1998. Two Ph.D. students, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, at Stanford University, founded the firm. Google.com had been registered as a domain a year earlier, but it was on this day, in 1998, that the company was registered as a company.
